Terms of Service
Last Updated: February 2026
Welcome to United Plumbing PDX. By accessing our website or engaging our licensed plumbing services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Licensing & Code Compliance
All plumbing, gas line, drain cleaning, and excavation services are performed by licensed master plumbers in accordance with the Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (OPSC) under Oregon Construction Contractors Board license #234891.
2. Estimates & Written Authorization
All repair, repipe, and replacement work is performed based on upfront written estimates. Work commences only upon written or verbal authorization from the property owner or authorized representative.
3. Workmanship Guarantee & Manufacturer Warranties
We provide a comprehensive 1-year workmanship warranty on all professional repairs and installations performed by our licensed technicians. Installed equipment and mechanical fixtures (including Bradford White water heaters, Navien tankless units, Zoeller sump pumps, and Moen valves) carry respective manufacturer warranties, which we facilitate on behalf of our customers.
4. Payment Terms & Invoicing
Payment is due upon substantial completion of authorized services unless prior written commercial credit terms have been formally executed. We accept major credit cards, bank debit, and approved third-party financing. Late payments may accrue interest at the maximum statutory rate permitted by Oregon state law.
5. Site Access & Pre-Existing Structural Conditions
Property owners agree to provide reasonable, safe access to plumbing mechanical fixtures, water shutoff valves, crawlspace hatches, and attics. United Plumbing PDX is not liable for incidental drywall, wallpaper, or landscape damage reasonably necessary to access concealed leaking pipes, nor for pre-existing deterioration of brittle galvanized lines or rotten framing lumber.
6. Construction Contractors Board (CCB) Compliance
Services are provided under Oregon Construction Contractors Board license #234891. Information about the Construction Contractors Board, including dispute resolution notices and consumer protection guides, is available at the official State of Oregon CCB consumer portal (www.oregon.gov/ccb).
